Having worked on the Palgrave Dictionary of Economics, Bourchier was engaged to copyedit and proofread this flagship Palgrave reference work. With hundreds of individually commissioned entries and signpost articles, this commission called for not only an understanding of the specific requirements of an encyclopedia (such as a cross-referencing methodology) but above all meticulous management and organization: Bourchier created a tracker system to enable all parties involved in production to trace each article at the various production stages.
