This book catalogue was published in conjunction with the exhibition ‘Epic of the Persian Kings: The Art of Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh’, held at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, in celebration of the millennium of the completion of Ferdowsi’s work. Bourchier oversaw the copy-editing, design and proof-reading of this beautifully illustrated volume – produced in time for the Cambridge exhibition.
