Comment

Our capacity to work creatively, flexibly and develop a tailor-made proposal is showcased in a project we are undertaking for the King Abdul Aziz Foundation in Riyadh. The original commission was to translate a History of the Arabian Peninsula (first published by I.B.Tauris) into ten languages. We were subsequently asked to arrange full pre-press production – typesetting, proof-reading, provision of print-ready files – and, most recently, to create revised editions, with fewer chapters, in a new format (Demy rather than Royal) and to include a selection of images.

Below: A map specially designed for this book series and a page from the first French translation, currently being revised for the second edition.

Testimonial

‘I am pleased to have the opportunity to cooperate with Bourchier. I have seen several of Bourchier’s translations and have found them to be excellent.’
