This British Academy monograph included a number of complex tables. To ensure that the pre-editing process did not have an adverse effect on the formatting and layout of the tables, we adjusted our normal workflow so that the tables could be edited before being included in the typesetter’s normalised files. The book also contained a large amount of French and musical terminology, so we chose suppliers with knowledge in these areas. Taking these additional steps meant that the production process went smoothly, and the author and client were very happy with the outcome.
